Jim Iyke Joins YDP  As He Become A Politician, Defends Visit to OBJ & Return From Atlanta

After he had paid a visit to ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, at the presidential hilltop, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nollywood Actor, Jim Iyke who is currently in Nigeria for his political career under Young Democratic Party (YDP), has declared that his return from Atlanta and involving in politics is not by accident.

The actor was prompted to explain this as some persons felt that his visit to OBJ was based on self motives.
He said: " My party asked me with superior motives to leave the comfort of my home in Atlanta and serve. I obeyed. I don't intend to regret this tremendous decision or sell out. My horizon is higher than immediate gain. YDP is the vehicle. The members and aspirants are the driver. You, my people, the engine. One cannot do without the other. It's collective, unanimous and unequivocal. We shall arrive at our destination without upheavals.

This is not an accident. It is God's plan for everyone, our people. It's time for sober introspection. The will and caprices of politics must be fully practiced in order to prevail. Every tool at our disposal must be absolutely utilized. A student soon becomes a tutor with the right will and gifts". [Photos]
