The incident occured at a Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Aladura, situated at 4, Victor Anibaba, Street, Owode Ajegunle area of Ikorodu, Lagos.
This was the first attack by Badoo Cultists in Ajegunle since their killings. It was also gathered a two years old baby was affected by the attack.
Report had it that the children affected died on the spot. Others said that they were still alive.
According to the founder of the church, Rotimi Ajidara, the killers struck around 2:30am, after scaling the fence.
He said that the women and their children were asleep while he went home after the vigil. He was later woken up by the screaming of his members, who discovered the attack, adding that he immediately alerted neighbours.
He said, "I went straight into the church where I saw only two women and their children with pool of blood. I raised an alarm while neighbours came.
