Bishop David Oyedepo Reaction To Islamic Studies in Nigeria

The General Oversea of Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo had warned the federal and state governments against any move to compel secondary school students of Christian background to offer Islamic studies in Nigeria.

He stated: You can't force Islamic studies on our children

His warning came after an emergency meeting held by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, in Lagos on Thursday.

He said in a statement when addressing newsmen at the PFN Headquarter in Isolo, Lagos. He said, government at all levels had no right to force subjects on anybody.
